Gourmet Microwave Cook

Is it really possible to make a complete and nutritious meal in the microwave? There has been much speculation about the use of a microwave oven and all the effects on health, but it is a wonderful instrument for the only person on the go or starter family with hardly any time.

Any feeling for Thai fish cooked in coconut sauce with steamed vegetable and wild rice? Yes! Would you believe it is possible to make all these points in the microwave? My first meeting with cooking in the microwave was in Bronx NY my aunt at home. She showed me how it was possible to make bacon in the microwave. The idea was astonishing. She put a sheet of hand towel in a sign that the raw strips of bacon on the subject it with another sheet of hand towel and rolled up leaves. She places it in a microwave in 3 minutes on "high". When she took the plate out the microwave and opened hand towel, "Voila!" a masterpiece. Bacon was cooked, hand towel were soaked up most of its oil (which is usually a concern for people when it comes to pork products) and it was totally fresh and ready to be served.

After that, I had more. I am a single girl, who have been attracted by the possibility of making food while you do other things. No longer would I have to stand around in the kitchen so that things are not going to burn on the stove. I had an oven that knew how much heat to give and when to stop. I asked if she knew how to do something else in a microwave oven. Then she showed me to cook corn on the cob in the microwave. She removed the corn and places it in the microwave with a Tablespoon of butter on each cob corn. Eating corn I could not detect any difference in taste or quality. I hit the jackpot. Cooking just got easier.

Quite excited by this revelation, I went home to experiment and now I will dub itself a "Gourmet Chef: Guru of the microwave oven". Here are some dishes that I have whipped up the sent years in a microwave oven. My microwave repertoire consists of Thai fish in coconut sauce, braised salmon in Coconut Sauce, wild rice, curried rice, baked pelau sweet potatoes, baked Irish potato, abundance steamed vegetables.

This is an exciting experience just to be able to cook nutritious and interesting food in a Jiffy. You will feel the same level of excitement that you initiate this creative journey with me. If you have any aptitväckande recipes post them and if you have any ideas send them and let us experiment together.
