The best Lollipop shape is not only for Suckers

A secret to create unique and unusual sweets are taking advantage of leg forms. These forms provide great flexibility. There are molds for almost all special occasions. There are three basic types of leg forms, each with its own unique purpose. The most common of the three types are the basic flat mold. Flat sheets with inset of special shapes and patterns that warm liquid candy is poured on the shape and then harden. These forms can be used to create candy Christmas trees, Valentine hearts, leaves, pumpkins, and any number of shaped sweets for all occasions.

Lollipop shape is very convenient and easy to use. They are cheap and easily available online or at the nearby supply stores. These moulds are made typically of flat plastic or rubber.

To use moulds, warm liquid candy is poured in flat molds and candy is strengthened to the shape of the mould. Each plate mould has multiple indentations or shapes on the sheet. When candy has hardened, remove the sweets by closing sheet and put pressure on the back of the mould. Candy pop "" printed as individual pieces of candy. They are flat on one side and have the design of mould on the other side. In some cases a mould sheet will provide a variety of shapes and patterns, but in most cases, there is only a repeated design, to a sheet.

The next type mould gives candy that have design completely around sweets. This is called 3D mould. This mildew can be used to make the traditional gavel. In order to achieve the 3D effect, making mould usually in two parts ... one for the front page of sweets and one for the back. Although 3D mould has two parts, it is almost as easy to use as the plate mould ... in fact, that to use and to put together, the two flat forms. The first time you pour a liquid candy in the first page of the mould ... is careful not to fill the top of the page. After this page has hardened, Pour more liquid candy in the second half of the mould ... again almost to the Summit. Then when the candy of the second step is only partially hardened, sweets of first batch popped up and individually placed on the partially cooled second round ... still in shape. The second round continues to cool and harden, the two parts together as a candy to be compiled.

There is a change of this serie of 3D mould. It is the same except the two parts are hinged together like a book, and both sides are filled at the same time. When candy has cooled and hardened a little ... is "book" closed to two parts can fuse and complete together as one piece.

Then there are the ultimate basic type mould ... "Hollow" mould. This mould is not used to do ice cream sticks, but to make some of the most wonderful sweets ever. We have all experienced the pleasure of choosing a piece of chocolate without knowing what a wonderful surprise that we would find in the center. With this mould, you can fill in the middle of the candy with all kinds of good stuff: peanut butter, fruit, jellies and all types of flavored goodies ... you can even make your own special shading. Although these moulds can be used for hard candies, they are normally used to create a chocolate shell that can be filled with goodies and then with more chocolate.

The hollow mould is typically a sheet of transparent plastic with lines of voids half inch and deeper. The chocolate is melted and with a small paint brush the sides of the mould is "painted" by a layer of chocolate. The chocolate is cooled, place the mould in the refrigerator. The moulds are painted again, chilled again and repeat the process until the desired thickness. Then placed filling the inside and a final layer of chocolate is poured on top. When the top layer is placed mould in the freezer longer than for candy to enter enough to be easily popped by mould.
