How to get freezer burn on meat

Freezer burn is caused by the meat is exposed to extremely cold dry air: the precise conditions inside your freezer. Meat that activates the leathery and a grey-brown color. It is safe to eat, it will not harm you or make you sick, but the flesh is spicy with an odd structure. The easiest way to get rid of freezer burn is to prevent it in the first place. If the majority of meat is freezer burn is afraid. If only a portion is burned, you can get rid of the freezer burned part.

Defrost the meat until they burned sections is flexible and is no longer frozen. The whole piece does not need to be completely thawed. You could try hacking of the burned-out section if it is on the edge or tip without defrosting and then returns to the roast into the freezer.

Place the meat in a zipper locked freezer-proof food storage bag. Press the air out of the bag. Seal bag while not letting the air again. Use double bags for foods that have sharp edges like a grilled meat with bones protruding or crab legs.

Wash hands before and after handling raw meat. Disinfect surfaces and cutting boards with warm soapy water or a bleach solution. This is especially important with chicken.
